Keith was an astronomy educator for 42 years. In 2004, he became the first director of the new Edelman Planetarium at Rowan University, from which he retired in 2016. He was able to introduce music into the star theater in several ways: he hosted university music students performing recitals; hosted music faculty recitals; and organized astronomically-themed jazz concerts by faculty musicians from Rowan (with accompanying animated visuals on the dome). Keith has sung in community choruses everywhere he's lived, including the Greater South Jersey Chorus, and served as treasurer for the Bella Voce women's chorus in Reno. He has also been called upon to turn pages for his beloved wife, a talented organist. Keith holds a Master of Science (in Astronomy) from University of Arizona.
